Before Fall Break we had our 2nd Annual Mountain Trails Staff Chili Cook Off! Our back-to-back champion was 1st Grade Teacher Chelsea Ottoson! It looks like she's trying to start a Micheal Jordan-esque ring collection! Way to go Mrs. Ottoson!!

"Hello! I’m Jessi Mauluulu, and I’m so happy to be part of the Mountain Trails Elementary team. I’m graduating this year from UVU and I couldn’t be more thrilled to start this next chapter in education. I’m passionate about lifelong learning and love helping students develop a growth mindset—watching them discover what they’re capable of is truly the best part of the job!
When I’m not in the classroom, I love to travel and explore new places. One of my favorite adventures so far has been visiting Crete, Greece—it was unforgettable! I’m always on the lookout for my next great travel experience.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and our big family, which includes five brothers and one sister between the two of us. Life is never boring, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I feel incredibly grateful to be here at Mountain Trails, surrounded by such a supportive and inspiring community. I can’t wait to continue growing and learning alongside my students and colleagues."

We want to welcome Deputy Snyder to our Mountain Trails Community! He covers multiple schools in Eagle Mountain, and is a great role model for our students. He enjoys visiting schools, so make sure to say hello when you see him!
Community bike ride! We'll be hosting a short 2.5 mile bike/scooter/walk event on July 16th at 8am. We'll start and end at Mountain Trails. You can start with us at the school, join us anywhere along the way, or meet us back at the school for popsicles around 8:30am! To avoid road construction, we'll stay close to the school. One part of the trail will be on the dirt, but the rest is on pavement. We anticipate the ride taking 20-30 minutes. Everyone is welcome to join, even if they don’t attend Mountain Trails! Refer to the map to see our exact route, we hope to see you there!!
IMPORTANT REMINDER: All Alpine School District offices and facilities will be closed on Friday, July 4 in recognition of Independence Day.
